11. California Proposition 65 Warning & Notice
Last Updated: October 4, 2026
What Proposition 65 Is
California Proposition 65 requires businesses, in applicable circumstances, to provide a clear and reasonable warning before knowingly and intentionally exposing individuals in California to listed chemicals, unless an exemption or applicable exposure threshold applies.
Product-Specific Warnings
Not every product sold by Pleasure Sanctuary necessarily requires a Proposition 65 warning. When a warning is applicable, Pleasure Sanctuary may display a product-specific warning on the product page, through a clearly marked WARNING link or other prominent pre-purchase method, and/or on or with the product as required by applicable rules.
Internet Purchases
For products requiring a Proposition 65 consumer-product warning, California's warning framework includes requirements relevant to internet sales. Applicable warnings should therefore be presented to the purchaser before completion of the internet purchase in the manner required for the product and circumstances.
Meaning of a Warning
A Proposition 65 warning does not by itself mean that a product is prohibited, unlawfully manufactured, or necessarily unsafe when used as directed. The warning communicates potential exposure to one or more chemicals listed by the State of California.
Manufacturer and Supplier Information
Pleasure Sanctuary may rely on relevant chemical, product, warning, and compliance information supplied by manufacturers, distributors, or other responsible parties where legally appropriate. Product warnings may be updated when reliable information or legal requirements change.
Do Not Treat This Page as a Universal Warning
This general notice is informational and is not intended to replace a product-specific warning where a product-specific warning is legally required. Customers should review the warning displayed with the specific product before purchase and use.
More Information
Official information about Proposition 65 is available from the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) Proposition 65 Warnings program.
